A strong police mobilization was registered this Thursday afternoon at the mayor’s office Tlalpan, from Mexico City, after a shooting in the Coapa neighborhood.
According to the first reports, the detonations occurred around 6:30 p.m., between Miramontes streets and Calzada del Hueso.
Until now no deaths or injuries are reported.
It is also not known what provoked the armed attack; However, the Twitter account @TlalpanVecinos published that, apparently, it was an element of the Investigative Police (PDI), who was trying to arrest a criminal in the area.
Even in one of the videos posted on Twitter, a patrol car and several subjects are seen running on the road. Some men were also recruited they carried long weapons and they were in the middle of the facts, however, it has not been reported if they were criminals or police officers dressed in civilian clothes.
Hours before, another shooting was reported in the Historical Centerin the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, which left two deceased people already one more injured.
According to the first reports, the events were recorded on the streets of Miguel German and Mixcalco Alleywhere a 25-year-old private security guard lost his life, as well as another subject of approximately 35 years.
Some images and videos shared on social networks show the bodies of the victims lying on the asphalt. You can also see an injured person, who presumably was hit by a stray bullet, for which he was channeled to a nearby hospital.
Elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) arrived at the scene to protect the area and wait for the experts from the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX) to remove the bodies of the victims.
“A man who identified himself as a worker at a commercial premises pointed out that the attacker tried to deprive him of his money while a security guard, while trying to stop him, was injured, in addition to another person who was on the site,” the SSC detailed. it’s a statement.
For this reason, and with the characteristics provided and with the support of the C2 Centro Histórico staff, the officers carried out a virtual fence that allowed the location of the aggressor, who was trying to flee aboard a motorcycle on Lecumberri and Circunvalación, where he was intercepted.

Likewise, the officers noticed that said subject had two firearm impacts, on the wrist and right buttock, for which he was transferred to a hospital as a detainee, ”said the security unit.
Experts from the Attorney General’s Office of Justice of the Mexico City (FGJCDMX) who raised the bodies of the victims.
