Diablo 4 is going to change a lot before its release and it’s thanks to the whole community. Blizzard has taken the feedback into account and is listing what will be changed.

Diablo 4 is coming soon and has already completed several testing phases. During these periods, thousands of players were able to test the game before its final release. There has been a lot of feedback regarding game mechanics, balancing, and bug reports.
Blizzard has obviously taken note of all this since many changes have already been made.

This is just an overview of the upcoming changes. More details will be given soon during a livestream to be held on April 20 on the official channel.

Blizzard listening to players to polish Diablo 4

Diablo 4 is expected on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series from June 6th. So there are only a few weeks left for Blizzard to polish its baby. The developers have shared some of what will be changed before the game is available for everyone.
And the community has been listened to since most of these changes are due to the many feedback we get from players.

After the Early Access and Open Beta weekends were over, the development team read all of your feedback and reviewed the game data. Using this information, we’ve made a variety of fixes and updates. to multiple systems Diablo 4. They will all be present in the final version which will be released on June 6th. None of this would be possible without all of you. THANK YOU !

Dungeons have been revamped

First of all, it’s a large part of the dungeons that have been modified. As Blizzard explains, one of the biggest complaints about dungeons is that you often had to go back and forth unnecessarily and unexcitingly. The developers have therefore decided to remedy this on a wide selection of dungeons. More adjustments will follow later, and Blizzard promises to monitor feedback closely once again.

List of dungeons that will be modified

  • Caldera Gate
  • Defiled Catacombs
  • Derelict Lodge
  • Forbidden City
  • Hoarfrost Demise
  • Immortal Emanation
  • Kor Dragan Barracks
  • Maulwood
  • Rimescar Caverns

Additionally, many adjustments have been made to make dungeon exploration more dynamic than ever. In this case, there will now be more random events, actions on the environment have been simplified and there will be no need to search every corner of the dungeon to look for the last remaining creatures.

All changes applied to dungeons

  • The chance of an event appearing inside a dungeon has been increased from 10% to 60%.
  • To reduce back and forth, a small number of scattered monsters will now seek out the player to help them achieve the “kill all monsters” objective.
  • When the Animus is gathered, the player and nearby allies are entitled to bonuses:
    • Resource gain.
    • Reduces all active cooldowns by 1 second.
  • The channel time required for Animus activation has been reduced from 3 seconds to 0 seconds.
  • The time required for saves has been reduced from 3 to 1.5 seconds.
  • When a rescue is successful, a health potion is now given.
  • When carrying a dungeon special item (ex: Bloodstone, Ancient Statue…), you will now receive a “Momentum” bonus which will grant you and your nearby allies a 25% increase in your movement speed.
  • Activated bases have had their channel time reduced from 2 seconds to 0 seconds.
  • Returning a wearable to its pedestal now fully restores health, resources, potions, and resets cooldowns for all nearby players.
  • All doors will now ping the minimap when opened.
  • All structure objectives in dungeons now offer new challenges to overcome.
