Diablo IV will officially launch on June 6. Until then, Blizzard is planning a round of beta testing, which will be held in March.

Diablo IV launches in June, but players can test the game as early as next month.

Blizzard

As the developer says, the test period is divided into two windows. 17.-19. March, everyone who has pre-ordered Diablo IV will get to try it. PC players get straight in, while console players have to go to the game’s website to enable early access.

The following weekend, i.e. 24.-26. March, the doors are opened to absolutely everyone. Beta testing is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

During the test period, participants get to try out both the prologue and the game’s first act. Here you can explore the Fractured Peaks area as much as you like. Blizzard has set experience level 25 as the maximum for the beta, but you are free to continue playing even after you get that far.

Diablo IV was officially unveiled at Blizzcon in 2019. The developer then promised a return to the series’ darker roots, after Diablo III was criticized for its more cartoonish style.
