During the Christmas gambler special of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” the moderator shared an anecdote from his early days on Monday evening. Back then, a small mistake got him into big trouble.
The quiz master remembered the funny story when candidate Simone Schneider-Stenkewitz sat on the council chair. The teacher from Barth in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has had many jobs in her life. Among other things, she worked briefly for a local TV station in Austria. But that didn’t go well for long.

Quite surprisingly, Jauch blurted out: “I had a microphone ban on Bavarian Radio for at least six months because I had made a report from the Oktoberfest and also reported what was going on there.” The young Günther Jauch made a blunder.
