Despite the fact that the different surveys, such as Ipsos Peru and the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP)show the high citizen rejection of the president, Dina Boluarteand the Congress of the republicboth continue not only with their non-aggression pact, but with a close collaboration.

The Minister of Economy, Alex Contreras, sustained a few days ago about the supplementary credit of 48 million soles that they were going to provide to the Parliament. However, it was not known how the money that will come out of the pockets of millions of Peruvians was going to be spent.

In detail, the management of Joseph Williams receives an additional item to the budget that it already has, which is around S/880 million. Thus, the money that enters their coffers will be used for different aspects that attract attention.

Of the additional 48 million soles, a part will be used for commissioning positions; that is, for the staff (18 million). In addition, it will also be distributed in the maintenance of the electrical system of the Palace Legislativeimprove the sanitary facilitiesbuy an electronic conference, attendance and voting system in the Hemicycle.

On the other hand, projects such as the implementation of the documentary archive and administrative deposit, the construction of a library and the well-known exclusive medical center for parliamentarians that will cost S/2 million will be launched.

Recently, the company Ipsos-Peru published the results of a new study showing the level of popularity of President Boluarte and Congress.

At the moment, Boluarte Zegarra would have the 77% disapproval nationally. The figure represents an increase of one point compared to last March when it registered 76%. The main cause of rejection towards the Head of State is that she would not be looking for solutions to improve the economic situation of the country (45%).

Other causes are because they do not handle social protests well (38%), being involved in acts of corruption (31%) and are not supporting the victims of the rains and mudslides (30%), they want to stay in the government/does not wish to advance the elections (28%), betrayed Pedro Castillo/Congress ally (27%) and does not support the poor (22%).
