In these procedures, the kidnapping of a significant sum of money in pesos and dollars, computers, cell phones, memory cards, flash drives, SIM cards (chips for cell phones), credit and debit cards, and firearms was achieved. The investigations initiated by complaints before the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the province of Buenos Aires constitute, for the most part, phishing maneuvers and social engineering, which gave rise to fraudulent banking operations denounced by Banco Provincia, an institution that from the beginning collaborated with justice to unravel the maneuvers and find the suspects.
