The daughter of the German diplomat, Andreas von Brandt, has been missing since Sunday. 15-year-old Akila Rakhi von Brandt is said to have left her home in Berlin-Kreuzberg around 5 p.m. on Sunday and has probably not reappeared since then.

“The missing Akila is our daughter – hereby explicitly again. She is in (at least psychological) dependency control of a convicted multiple offender who took her to Poland. Please help!”
She may look older than 15, the diplomat writes, but his daughter is fragile, childlike and geographically disoriented. She was put in this position by lies and false promises. “Please send information to the LKA in Berlin,” writes von Brandt.

In the meantime, von Brandt suspected that the kidnapper had taken his daughter to Poland. Von Brandt’s colleague, Thomas Bragger, who is a diplomat in Poland, also calls for help there via Twitter:
“Exceptionally in his own case: a colleague’s daughter has disappeared and may be in Poland. Thank you for your help!”
In the meantime, however, there are indications that Akila is still in Berlin, writes von Brandt. He therefore asks on Twitter to help with the search. Among other things, with the distribution of flyers in the appropriate districts.
And the Foreign Office is also asking for help on the official Twitter account: “For a change, on our own behalf: the daughter of a colleague is still missing in Berlin. Thanks for the help!”
Among the tweets from Brandts, who loudly “Focus” who currently serves as a department head in the Directorate-General for Stabilization at the Federal Foreign Office, sympathetic comments are accumulating.
Like the news portal “t-online.de” reported that the diplomat’s actions had not been agreed with the Berlin police. It was also possible that the diplomat’s daughter and her kidnapper appeared as a couple.
