In an unexpected violent crossover, five players were ejected Friday night in the game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
It all started from a fight that began with a cross between Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers.
In the third quarter, Bamba -who was not playing at the time- and Rivers -who was on the court- began to fight practically in front of the Magic’s bench.
Due to the confrontation with the pineapples between Bamba and Rivers, other players and members of the coaching staff of both teams joined.
When it was all over, the referees ordered the expulsion of Bamba and Jalen Suggs in the Magic and Rivers, Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince in the Wolves.
The game ended with a 120-127 victory for the Magic with Cole Anthony (20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists) as Orlando’s top scorer.
