A body was fished out on Saturday afternoon in the Loire, at the end of the island of Nantes, indicates West France this Tuesday. An autopsy must be conducted on Wednesday to formally identify the victim.

On social networks, Yann Bougaran’s family said that it was indeed the body of this 23-year-old young man who had been missing since April 22. The latter had spent the evening in the nightclub Le VIP, rue de la Paix in Nantes. He had left around 4:30 a.m. and his phone had connected in the Bouffay district around 6 a.m.

The student was last seen on Saturday April 22 at the Quai de la Fosse, near the Maillé Brézé museum ship at 6:14 a.m.

An investigation for “disturbing disappearance” was opened and searches were organized, including mobilizing a helicopter. His family and loved ones mobilized, launching an appeal for witnesses on social networks.
