Few days before the activation of the new one Disney Dreamlight Valley updates show the developers which changes and innovations are planned for the following weeks. In the current issue of Nintendo Direct, Gameloft provides a first glimpse of the big April update for the life simulation. “We know you’re waiting for the launch of our next free update ‘A Festival of Friendship’ on February 16th, but it’s always a good time to give a little sneak peek into the future,” the developers write in a recent release Blog entry.

April update brings Lion King

Among the highlights of the April update is a new one Realm to Lion King, as can be seen in the video inserted below. With the Realm, the developers are expanding the storyline and also introducing both Simba and Nala to Disney Dreamlight Valley. A new recipe also appears to be confirmed. However, no concrete information is available yet. With the big February update next week, new content for the life simulation is already in the pipeline, then Olaf from Frozen and Mirabel from Encanto will come into play.

Also in the February update, you’ll explore the mysteries of Frozen Heights and access a new Starpath, releasing to coincide with Disney’s 100th anniversary. More surprises are also announced for the upcoming patch. Further information can be expected in the coming days.
