In an interview, Royal author Tom Bower examines the future prospects for the Sussexes. In their adopted country, a separation is considered extremely likely.

Montecito – Since 2018 are Megan Markle (41) and Prince Harry (38) married. Two years later, they turned their backs on the British royal family and moved to Montecito, California, where they reside in a luxury Tuscan-style villa with their two children, Archie (3) and Lilibet (1). But what does the future hold for the Sussexes after the scandalous interviews, Netflix documentary and revealing biography? The book author and former BBC journalist Tom Bower (76) ventures an outlook.

“Everyone says that she will be bored with Harry”: what speaks for a separation of Meghan and Harry?

In 2018, Tom Bower wrote Rebel Prince, a work about today’s King Charles III. (74), In 2022 there was royal replenishment in the form of the bestseller “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors”. In an interview with the French edition of the Gala Bower now spoke about possible plans by Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. “I think they will continue like this. I think Meghan Markle’s memoir will make a lot of money. I also think that Harry will decide to publish another book with even worse information maybe in two years time. He said so himself: He skipped more than half of the book,” Bower surmises.

One can only speculate about their future prospects as a couple. “The question is: will she get bored? Everyone says she’ll get bored with Harry. And given her past, her history, there’s no doubt that she’s bored with men and dumps them.”so Tom Bower in conversation with Gala.fr about the ex-“Suits” actress. However, he himself does not believe in a separation from Meghan and Harry. “I think she’ll stay with him, but I’m not sure. I’m a minority in America, everyone thinks they’ll be separated in three years, but I disagree.” While the way Meghan treated her ex-boyfriends and her father Thomas Markle (78) would indicate that the Duchess of Sussex could also split from Harry, Bower warns:

I don’t think there is an advantage for her right now and I don’t see another man on the horizon.

Prince Harry ruled out UK return: ‘He’s stuck in California’

Tom Bower considers a return of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to Great Britain impossible. In the event of a divorce, the Royal author also cannot imagine Harry returning to his old homeland alone. “He’s stuck in California,” Bower said. Of course, this is also due to their children Archie and Lilibet, who Bower in the interview as “ticking time bomb” designated.

Tom Bower believes that allowing Archie and Lilibet to bear the titles of prince and princess is a “terrible mistake by Charles III” that could still have consequences for the royal family. “This will cause William major problems in the future. They will get out of control and cause great damage to the royal family. As king, William will foot the bill.” Before it gets that far, Harry travels alone to London for the coronation of King Charles on May 6th, Meghan stays in California and celebrates his 4th birthday with Archie. Meghan’s refusal is said to have very selfless reasons – she wants Charles Archie and Lili to stay as grandpas. Sources used: gala.fr
