This morning, the news of the death of a young man aged 29 upset the inhabitants of the Mohamed Saifi district in Aïn Oussara in the wilaya of Djelfa. Indeed, yesterday at noon, the young man unfortunately ended his life by swallowing a large quantity of the spirit of salt (corrosive liquid) used for car batteries.
According to what a general Arabic language daily reports in its new issue today, the suicide took place in front of the victim’s house. As a result, the elements of civil protection intervened, and despite his transport to the city hospital, the doctors were unable to save him. He was therefore transferred to the hospital in the wilaya of Médéa where he finally breathed his last after surgery. This tragedy aroused sadness and mourning among the inhabitants and the family of the victim.
Security services open an investigation
Without delay, the security services opened an investigation following this appalling incident. And this, in order to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy. It should be noted that three days ago, another tragedy occurred in the same region when a 26-year-old young man was found hanged in a room near the Ali Meziane vocational training center in Aïn Oussara in the southern part of the city. Indeed, these two tragic events deeply affected the inhabitants of the region.
