CDMX.- Apparently the romance between Luis Miguel and Paloma Cuevas has brought problems for the singer, especially with one of his friends.
Luis Miguel, 52, had a confrontation with Enrique Ponce, who was a partner of Paloma Cuevas, in a Madrid restaurant, according to various media reports.
The interpreter of “La Incondicional” approached the former bullfighter to greet him, but he rejected him and said “don’t speak to me because you are no longer my compadre. You are disgusting! With my ex!”
The meeting would have risen in tone, as it was reported that both said other strong words to each other and even Enrique Ponce stained “El Sol” with wine; all in front of Paloma.
“You are a piece of crap, compadre,” added Ponce.
To stop the confrontation, Luis Miguel’s bodyguard had to intervene.
Enrique Ponce, 51, was married to Paloma Cuevas from 1996 to 2021, having two daughters Paloma and Bianca.
The former bullfighter was a very close friend of the singer, so much so that he was even godfather to his first child with Aracely Arámbula, Miguel.

In September 2022, Luis Miguel and Paloma Cuevas were seen on the Costa del Sol, near Marbella.
Four months after the couple was caught shopping in a shopping center in Castellana, Madrid, where they were embracing.
Days later, they were seen together again, but now at an apparently romantic dinner with the Dukes of Anjou, Margarita Vargas and Luis Alfonso de Borbón, and the former Real Madrid footballer, Raúl González and his wife Mamen Sanz.
So far, neither of them has confirmed or denied the speculation about a courtship.
