The president of Independiente, Fabián Doman, pointed against América de México for his request that the Red lose the category and did not forget his predecessor, Hugo Moyano, whom he blamed for the financial situation of the club and asked him “an effort ” staff to clean up finances.
“I spoke with Moyano, I asked him that he has to make a personal financial effort due to the situation in which he left Independiente; I’m waiting for him to answer me,” said the brand new coach in an interview with DSports.
After the Mexican club raised to FIFA an inhibition to Independiente, with removal of points and relegation included, for a debt of six million dollars for the passes of Silvio Romero and the Paraguayan Cecilio Domínguez, Doman attacked: “We don’t know if América de México seeks to charge or hurt Independiente, because we offered him four payment plans and he did not accept any.”
“They can’t stand Independiente generating good news. The club’s lawyers find America’s request sound exotic,” added the president. On the other hand, he acknowledged that there is “a possibility” that the stadium adds a sponsor in the name “Libertadores de América-Ricardo Enrique Bochini”.
Finally, he closed the door on the return of midfielder Federico Mancuello: “Puebla de México declared him non-transferable. He was going to make a huge economic effort to come.”
