Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty Tuesday in federal court in Miami, but never spoke. He did everything through his lawyers.
Upon leaving the courthouse, Trump’s motorcade headed towards the Little Havana neighborhood, and got off at the iconic Versailles restaurant, where his supporters and legislator Ileana García, who apparently organized that moment, were waiting for him.
Trump made the stop to stop by for a moment before heading to New Jersey, where he will hold an election fundraiser tonight and celebrate his 77th birthday tomorrow.
Those present at Versailles sang happy birthay to the former president.
During the court hearing this Tuesday, the judge did not withdraw his passport, did not prevent him from leaving the country, nor the state of Florida.
