Titanfall 2 was released a little over seven years ago and it undeniably seems that we have to wait a little longer for a possible third installment in Respawn’s popular game series. According to Respawn CEO Vince Zampella, now is definitely not the right time for a sequel.
Zampella explains why:
“It has to be the right thing. It’s such a beloved franchise for the fans and also for us. If it is not the right moment in time, the right idea, then it just doesn’t make sense.”
Although we would of course like to see a third, it is refreshing that Respawn doesn’t choose to release something half-assed and milk the game series, but wait until they think it feels like the right thing to do and that a sequel can actually add something. When and if it ends remains to be seen.
