A presumably armed man has holed up in an apartment in downtown Dortmund. The operation lasted almost four hours.
Protracted use of Dortmund police in the city center: since Tuesday noon Mann in an apartment in the northern part of town entrenched, probably in Leuthardtstrasse. “Initially, only one rioter was reported to us,” explains police spokeswoman Kristina Purschke. Because of the police operation, there were minor incidents between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m traffic delays in the area around the intersection Krimstrasse/Kapellenstrasse.
