The famous producer of 10 commandments returns to the genre that made it known. He reveals the first information.
After seducing more than seven million viewers with musicals like The 10 Commandments, The sun King or Mozart the rock operaand takes a break from the genre, Dove Attia returns to its first love.
Eight years later The Legend of King Arthurthe producer will make his comeback with Molière the Urban Opera. His goal: “I didn’t want to redo what I had already done”, he explains this Thursday on RTL.

“I looked a little at the shows around the world and I saw that there was a new form, a new way of doing musicals. Before, in musicals there was an alternation of text” said” and songs”, he explains.
“His life is exceptional, extraordinary”
And the producer adds: “There, in Molière urban opera, we’re going to do as in an opera, that is to say only a series of songs… we tell the action, but while singing. There is an emotion that I did not have before, in my old shows.”
Molière urban opera will retrace the life of the famous playwright. “What’s incredible is that everyone knows about Molière’s work, but very few people know about his life. And his life is exceptional, extraordinary.”
“It’s a novel that mixes the story of love and adversity,” he adds. “He was someone who bothered. He was the first feminist in history and the first star in history. It was the first time there was a star. Everyone knew Molière, when there was no television at the time.
Molière urban opera will be embodied by a troupe made up of 40 singers, slammers and rappers, including Abi Bernadoth, the winner of The Voice 2020. The show will be held at the Dôme de Paris from November 2023. The musical’s album will be released in the coming months.
