Mexico City.- Drake Bell’s wife has filed for divorce arguing irreconcilable differences, a week after the actor was missing for hours.
Janet Von Schmeling filed the Petition for Dissolution of Marriage filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The 28-year-old woman is also seeking legal and physical custody of the couple’s baby, as well as spousal support, according to documents obtained by Peolple.
The lawsuit comes a week after Drake was reported missing in Daytona Beach, Florida and found safe within hours.
According to a police report cited by TMZ, the star’s brother claimed Drake did not want to be alive due to custody concerns over their son.
Days before the incident, Bell was seen enjoying a day at Sea World with her son Jeremy.
