A few days ago Curicó Unido announced the news that it will use the Monumental stadium for its vital match against the Paraguayans of Cerro Porteño for the Copa Libertadores de América.

Colo Colo will give up the Ruca for a single game and from the Maule Region they were happy to be able to occupy the male venue for this instance. It was also demonstrated by Damián Muñoz, coach of the Albirrojos.

“It was one of the options that we liked the most, one because of the field, it is a very good field, another because of the distance, we also believe that Viña or Concepción was a very long stay, especially for the people who are going to accompany us and We are satisfied,” he explained.

Finally, he also added that, “we on that field, within everything, have gone well, we have played good games and it is very similar to what our field is also, the issue of cutting the grass and it suits us well.”

The match between Curicó Unido and Cerro Buenos Aires will be played on Tuesday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Monumental stadium, a match valid for the return of the second round of the Copa Libertadores preliminary phase.
