EAMONN Holmes has revealed he will return to work in the New Year amid his ongoing health issues.
The 63-year-old recently underwent back surgery to relieve his “chronic pain” and has been away from public life as he regains mobility.
But tonight, Eamonn took to social media again and shared a photo of himself happy and healthy.
He told his followers: “Went to my GB News studio today to make sure I can cope with mobility. All good . The comeback is launched for Monday, January 9! I hope you can join me.
His wife Ruth Langsford was quick to comment on it, writing “here it is!! ,” after raising concern by not including Eamonn in his celebratory roundup.
Eamonn went through a few “hellish” months.
He was recovering from back surgery when he fell down the stairs and broke his shoulder – forcing him to miss work even longer.
The popular presenter told fans: “Last month I had a fall at home while recovering from back surgery and broke my shoulder.
“It was a huge setback and that means I’m going to have to take some more time off to improve.
“It’s been a hellish few weeks but day by day I’m getting better and staying positive and trying to see the bright side of things.”
Earlier this month he revealed he still had mobility issues but made his first public appearance in months as Piers Morgan’s Christmas party – with the help of two sticks.
