With the 3:2 home win last Thursday, EHC Lustenau created a good starting position for the second leg against Salzburg. The game starts at 7:15 p.m. in the Volksgarten.

“The first step has been taken, but we have to complete the match in Salzburg with the same consistency and hard work,” said a satisfied Albert Krammer, defender of EHC Lustenau. The team of EHC coach Philipp Winzig showed committed ice hockey with a lot of willingness to run, fight and will throughout the season.

“It’s nice to have tripped up Salzburg, but nothing has been achieved yet. We must not make the mistake of resting on our laurels. The entire team knows what to expect in Salzburg. If we can repeat the performance from Thursday in the second leg, we have a real chance of getting promoted,” adds Kevin Puschnik, forward at EHC Lustenau.

No fewer than 15 players from various U18 national teams are in the Mozartstadt squad. But the Lustenauer showed what is possible with commitment, will, fighting power and morale. They also want to show these virtues in the second leg in Salzburg. They are supported by around 20 people from Lustenau, who make the journey to Salzburg to support the EHC Lustenau team on site.
