The Société d’exploitation des tramways en Algérie (SETRAM), announced via a press release unveiled today the tram transport program in Algeria. In detail, SETRAM said that the trams will be available during the two days of Eid el-Fitr 2023. And this, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Thus, we can read on the official Facebook page of the company: “Setram reassures travelers about the availability of the tramway during the two days of Eid el-Fitr, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and this, in the interest in offering an amplitude of service allowing them to travel in complete peace of mind”.

SETRAM becomes a 100% Algerian company

As we had indicated in one of our previous articles, the partner shareholder of the Société d’exploitation des tramways en Algérie (SETRAM) withdrew and sold its shares to the latter during the month of March 2023. As a result, the aforementioned company has become 100% Algerian.

In this wake, it should be noted that TRANTEV, the parent company, bought the shares of RATP. Remember that RATP is a French shareholder.
