According to the “Hessische Rundschau”, however, Fischer, his wife and his adult son kept the drugs in such a way that the 13-year-old had access to them. Accordingly, the public prosecutor’s office is investigating not only against the Eintracht President, but also against his wife and 25-year-old son.
Club, board and coach react
The club responded to “Bild” with a statement saying that the club “cannot and does not want to comment on the ongoing investigation”. “We will first get a comprehensive picture of the situation,” it said.
In addition, SGE trainer Oliver Glasner was asked about the incident in the press conference before the cup game against Darmstadt (Tuesday, 8.45 p.m.). The Austrian clarified: “It doesn’t affect us as long as we’re not directly confronted with it. I found out after training. A person is quickly prejudiced when a headline comes out.

The 48-year-old coach added: “I’ve known Peter Fischer for a year and a half. Especially when you’re not doing so well – and when headlines like this come out, you’re not doing so well – then you need someone to stand by you. Peter has the biggest support in the club. Anything else is not our concern.”
Board spokesman Axel Hellmann said hesitantly to “Bild”: “I will not say anything about it. Not as a friend, not as a member and not as a club official.” He was also quoted in a very similar way to “Sport1”.
Imprisonment threatened, but charges and conviction uncertain
According to Section 29 of the Narcotics Act If convicted of acquiring or possessing cocaine, there is a risk of a fine or even imprisonment for up to five years.
However, it is questionable to what extent the evidence collected by the public prosecutor’s office is sufficient for a conviction. It is not yet known if an indictment is planned. The “Bild” reports that the club’s advisory board wants to meet with the board of directors this week to discuss Fischer’s future.
