Mexico City.- Federal forces arrested this morning in Durango an alleged financial operator of Los Cabrera, a criminal organization related to the Sinaloa Cartel under the command of Ismael Zambada García, “El Mayo”.
Luis Cresencio Sandoval, head of the Sedena, reported that the operation was in progress until this morning, as agents were deployed to the north of the city to go against the target of whom he did not reveal more details.
“In Durango, starting at dawn today, an operation began to arrest a financial operator of the Los Cabrera Sarabia criminal group, akin to the Pacific Cartel,” he said at the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“These ground forces, also air support, the activity continues, it is being developed in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office and other instances, we are still in the process of this operation so that once everything that has to be done is completed at the address where this activity is carried out, the detainee is transferred to where the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic establishes”.
He added that there was a confrontation during the actions and one of the attackers was injured in the arm.
