The viewer favorite Every time we meet rolls across the screen these days again with well-established artists and young rising stars at the table on Kjerringøy outside Bodø.

So far, Bjørn Eidsvåg (68) and Freddy Kalas (32), whose real name is Fredrik Auke, have been guests of honor in the 13th season.

Gives praise

Attentive viewers may have noticed the former’s generous round of thanks in the first two episodes of the music programme.

Because in addition to thanking colleague Ingebjørg Bratland (32) for her moving interpretation of “Evig hvila”, Eidsvåg gets up from the table and takes the band members by the hand and thanks them for their help and effort.

He also does that after Kristian Kristensen (30) has taken on “Eg ser”.

When the 68-year-old ends the evening, he sends another thank you to the band.

– And thanks to those of you who helped make it so nice, he says.

On Auke’s day, the veteran artist also makes sure to praise the choristers who often accompany the participants along the way.

– Damn cool choir too, he exclaims when Auke is about to end the music party.

TV 2 has been in contact with Bjørn Eidsvåg’s management, who state that Eidsvåg is not available for further comment on the matter.

Not the first

It is not only Eidsvåg who has allowed himself to be excited by the band in Hver gang vi møstes.

In the second season of the TV success, ring fox Ole Paus (75) was so impressed by the house band that he hired them to play on his 2013 record, Avslutningen.

Watch Every time we meet on Saturdays at 20:00 on TV 2 Direkte, and whenever you want TV 2 Play.
