The Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed, indicated that the sector is in the final phase of preparations in anticipation of the next school year 2023/2024.
Abdelhakim Belabed added during his supervision of a preparatory meeting for the next school year, that visits were made at the state level, where an acceleration in the pace of construction of the facilities was recorded. There is also an extensive sectoral program where the walis are making great efforts to oversee the completion of school facilities in anticipation of the next school year in comfortable conditions, which is the last process to organize the school year.

What about primary English in the coming school year?
The Minister of National Education also added that the next school year will see the integration of the English language in the fourth year of primary school. According to the decision of the President of the Republic after its integration in the third year, of the primary cycle at the beginning of the current school year. Emphasizing that the sector is fully prepared and the programs are ready.

In addition, the first person in charge of the education sector in Algeria, indicated that during the next school year, the third year of secondary education will be installed for the arts division, in application of the instructions of the Head of State after approval of the arts division. Highlighting that the results of the division are excellent this year.
In the same context, the Minister of Education Belabed revealed that the first examination for the baccalaureate will take place next year for the high school of arts. Emphasizing that a meeting was held with government colleagues, to study the procedures and steps in the medium and long term to develop this specialization. Because it is a policy of the fatherland and a promising desire to put the arts back in the place that suits them. This will benefit artistic and economic life and promote the social, cultural, artistic and civilizational dimension of our country.
