It is a real work of art!

ESC singer Chris Harms (43) from the dark rock band Lord Of The Lost sings for Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday. But not only his voice impresses, also the more than 100 tattoos on his body.

He got his first tattoo – a tribal on the shoulder blade – at the age of 18 in Hamburg’s oldest tattoo parlour. Since then, new ones have been added every year.

Harms immortalized important stages of life as tattoos on his hands, as well as fundamental observations of life.

At BILD, Chris Harms explains his tattoos on his hands.

“Again, balance is the key here. Giving and taking, which only works if one thing, taking, does not predominate. I find it a beautiful symbol to have these words in your hands.”

“A heart on the middle finger is a nice contrast. And if you point the finger at someone, it could also be a sign of love. But maybe that’s just something you can understand with my sense of humor…”
