Coinciding with the last years of the 20th century, songs like La raja de tu skirt or Suma y seguir began to be played in the clubs. Its singers, two brothers from Barcelona who called themselves Estopa, were beginning to tour Spain and Latin America and even won the Ondas Award for being the Breakthrough Artists of 1999.
Twenty-five years later, David and José Muoz, fully established in the Spanish artistic scene, have announced two great concerts to celebrate their musical silver anniversary. The Civitas Metropolitano stadium in Madrid and the Estadi Olmpic Llus Companys in Montjuic will welcome thousands of fans there in the summer of 2024.
Using one of the most recurrent summer slogans, Tic, Tac…, coined by Josep Pedrerol to talk about Mbapp’s signing for Real Madrid, Estopa’s social networks shared the promotional video of the brief tour. June 22 has been the date chosen to sing in the capital, while July 10 will be the day on which they will -predictably- fill the current field of their Ftbol Club Barcelona.
Tickets on sale
Tickets for both events can be purchased from the next November 30 on the group’s official website. The prices of the passes and the total number of tickets that will be available are not yet known. What is known is that that same night, at the time the sale opens to the public, José and David will be in El Hormiguero promoting a career that contains great hits in the history of Spanish music.
