Evacuation orders issued for fast-spreading fire in Perris

Dozens of firefighters are tackling a wildfire that has spread to structures and prompted evacuations Tuesday in Riverside County.

The Juniper Fire is burning about 15 acres in the 19000 block of Santa Rosa Mine Road in Perris, about 20 miles southeast of Riverside. The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m.
