The couple of Allanis Navas and María González obtained this Tuesday the gold medal in the discipline of women’s beach volleyball at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
The Puerto Rican duo faced the Dominicans Bethania Almánzar and Julibeth Payano, who won the first set.
This is the first medal for Puerto Rico in the discipline for the female gender. In the Mayagüez 2010 edition, Yarleen Santiago and Dariam Acevedo won the silver medal.
