"Everything tastes the same to me except the cob"

A Cuban in the United States (@claudiarodriguez1624) has shared her experience about the differences in the taste of food between both countries, stating that “everything tastes the same to me except Cob”. A statement that has generated different opinions on TikTok, where user ClauDenis published a video talking about the flavors in the United States and Cuba.

“I had always heard that the food in the United States tasted different from that in Cuba and I disagree. Be careful, I am a good eater but everything tastes the same to me except the cob, which is very sweet, but I love the tamale”said this Cuban, resident in the United States.

“It’s my opinion, but what I’m sure of is that food feels tasteless because you think about your loved ones. What they eat today or what they need or just because you think that you have everything but you lack them and they lack you. So “It’s not the food, it’s the life that feels tasteless because happiness is half.”he added, reflecting on the nostalgia and difficulty of a new life away from your loved ones.

“My apologies, but if there is a difference, they don’t taste the same”“Pork only has a defined flavor, in fried dough. The rest does taste the same”, “Nothing tastes the same, not the meats, not the seasoning at all” or “Nothing tastes the same is my opinion”, are some reactions that are read next to the video on TikTok
