Caroline Roux : C in the air is an institution. I was especially keen not to damage the show and to slip into the moccasins ofYves Calvi ! Once installed, and as I went along, I dared to put a little more of myself into it.
What did this show bring you?
It opened me up to other current topics. The material we handle every evening is very diverse. It is a chance and a source of great wealth for me.

It’s in my character. I don’t like conflict, I like to go smoothly. In C in the airwe can disagree, but without the need for excess.

Did this play into your way of interviewing politicians?
When I started in the political interview, I thought that, to be heard and credible, you had to raise your voice, be pugnacious and cut the floor. Moreover, as a woman, I thought it was necessary to earn stripes of authority. There was a way of overplaying a form of aggressiveness that didn’t suit me. With age, we end up finding ourselves. Today, I’m in a style that totally resembles me. I am no longer afraid of being judged. I assume what I am, and that really corresponds to what I do in C in the air.
