'F' and 'M' trains resume service after months of works

F and M train service will finally return to normal starting tomorrow.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) says they will make “regular stops in Manhattan and Queens starting at 5 a.m.”

Service was suspended in August to improve infrastructure, including a major track replacement project.

Additionally, the MTA improved the 57th Street stop.

He installed new lights, repainted the station and removed outdated signs.

Passengers at the Roosevelt Island stop were particularly affected during the service changes.

The island’s only metro station was completely closed during the construction work.

The free bus service will be in operation until service resumes.
