The creator of the series Ten percent assures in an interview with Inrockswork on the script of the film Ten percentwhich should extend the series.

Series Ten percent won’t come back… but there will be a movie. Fanny Herrero, the creator of the series, indicated this in an interview with Inrocks.

“I started writing again for Ten percent. Not for the series, which ended with season 4 a little over two years ago, but on its extension into a cinema film”, she explains, adding that she works with screenwriter Lison Daniel, revealed by his “Characters”, a tasty gallery of portraits on Instagram.

The producer Michel Feller and one of the showrunners of the series Nicolas Mercier, had already declared, in the columns ofvarietyy, last January that there would be a film. And Dominique Besnehard, at the origin of the idea for the series, had also hinted, from 2021, that there would be a sequel in the form of a TV movie.

Dramatic success

Fanny Herrero, who left the series in the third season, says she is “extremely happy” to find the characters, and “to write again for these actors that [elle] adore”. The time of 4 seasons, Ten percent was a dazzling success, and spread remakes all over the world, as far as Indonesia.

Ten percent also helped launch the careers of the main actors, the agents, from Laure Calamy to Camille Cottin via Grégory Montel and Nicolas Maury. This is what Dominique Besnehard invoked to explain the difficulty of making a fifth season of the series: the main actors now have very busy schedules.

Since Ten percentFanny Herrero created the series Funnywhich Netflix unfortunately stopped from the first season, after only a few weeks of broadcasting.
