The penultimate part of the action saga with Vin Diesel, in theaters in the spring, offers a first trailer.

“The end of the journey begins.” Fast and Furious 10announced as the penultimate part of the famous action saga with Vin Diesel, unveiled its first trailer this Friday.

Directed by Frenchman Louis Leterrier (Far from the Periph), Fast X takes place after the events of Fast and Furious 9. The pitch: Cipher (Charlize Theron) and Dante (Jason Momoa) unite against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team, assisted by Tess (Brie Larson).

The French director had replaced Justin Lin last year at short notice, who had left the project by surprise. Known to have already signed The Transporter 2 with Jason Statham, Danny the Dog with Jet Li and Elusive with Jesse Eisenberg, Louis Leterrier also directed episodes of the series Lupinewith Omar Sy.

A final part in two parts

Fast X brings together veterans Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Charlize Theron and Sung Kang in the credits. Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman) are among the newcomers to the franchise.

Appeared in the post-credits scene of Fast and Furious 9Jason Statham should also have a bigger role in this new sequel. Dwayne Johnson meanwhile declined the offer to return to the saga, after his high-profile falling out with Vin Diesel. Release Fast and Furious 10 scheduled for May 17.

Started in 2001, the franchise Fast and Furious will end with a finale in two films, bringing the number of parts of the saga to eleven. Very popular, it inspired a spin-off, Hobbs & Shawwhich met with great success in 2019.
