Although Fast & Furious 10 will start in German cinemas tomorrow, fans of the long-lived action series can look forward to a brand new – and quite long – trailer today. In this, Dom Toretto and his family are once again in top form.
It’s the beginning of the end: In Fast & Furious 10 (original title: Fast X) there is a big reunion with all the stars of the series, which of course is led again by Vin Diesel in his role as Dom. Other cast members include Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.
Ice cold revenge
They now face their most dangerous opponent yet, who is also deeply rooted in their past. Dante (played by Jason Momoa) is the son of Brazilian drug lord Hernan Reyes, who was taken down (read: killed) by Dom and his crew in Part 5 of the series. He is now determined to put his revenge plans into action and take everything that is important to Dom.
Well, probably a final trilogy
However, the story will only come to an end in a few years, even later than originally planned. Because: At the world premiere of the new film, Vin Diesel let it be known that the action series now ends with a final trilogy, i.e. a twelfth part. Originally it was supposed to be over after the eleventh film.
Fast & Furious 10 was directed by Louis Leterrier, who in the past has already been able to prove his skills in terms of PS-based action with The Transporter, among other things. In Germany, the new film will start in cinemas on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
