BRAZIL.- A father and his son died after suffering a plane crash on July 29, after the father allowed the child to fly the plane, in an event that occurred on the border of the states of Rondonia and Mato Grosso, in Brazil.
The victims were identified as Garon Maia, a 42-year-old businessman and his 12-year-old son Francisco (Kiko), who traveled from a family farm in the city of Nova Conquista, in Rondonia, bound for Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, where the child lived with his mother and attended school.
In a video broadcast on social networks, the minor is seen driving the aircraft days before the accident, while his father was recording the scene while having a beer, so it is presumed that it was not the first time that the man gave the helm to the child. .
According to the Infobae portal, tragedy in the family Maya did not end there, since days after the funeral acts, Garon’s wife and Francisco’s stepmother, Paula Pridonik, 27, committed suicide.
The Aeronautical Accident Prevention Research Center (Cenipa), launched a thorough investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
