The current season is slowly getting into the hot phase and FC Bayern still has a chance of three titles – even if the atmosphere around the club is quite different at the moment. The difference: The Munich team will not secure the German championship this year as easily and dominantly as in previous years.
Bayern are currently only ahead of their rivals Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin on the same points because of the better goal difference.
On Sunday of all days there will also be a direct duel with the Berliners. But behind the scenes, not only are the preparations for the top game going on, but work is already underway on the team for the coming season – to which one player will probably no longer belong.
Bayern bosses agree to transfer
Malik Tillmann had already switched to FC Bayern in 2015 and went through all the youth teams there. Since 2021, the attacker has made brief appearances with the Munich professional team and has played regularly in the second team.

Last summer he moved to Rangers from Glasgow on a one-year loan basis and became a regular. As reported by the “footballinsider” portal, the Munich team is said to have offered the Scots a permanent contract for the attacker for a transfer fee of seven million euros.
Although the Bayern bosses are very impressed by the development of the striker, they do not see a future in the squad. The Rangers are very different. They think: Tillmann fits perfectly into the team.

He has made an impeccable impression in his previous appearances in Glasgow. According to the report, Tillmann also feels extremely comfortable in the Scottish metropolis.
According to “footballinsider”, the Rangers bosses would be only too happy to sign the 20-year-old. Trainer Michael Beale raved about Tillmann weeks ago. “At the age of 20, he has an exciting future ahead of him.”
The desire to take over is no secret. Beale had already expressed the desire to sign Tillmann in December. “He’s exactly the type of player we want here at this club,” he said.
Transfer only under one condition: money could become a problem
However, there is a catch. Then: The permanent transfer would cost the Scots a lot of money. The sum is so high that they could therefore refrain from making the decision.

It is currently not clear how to proceed. It is likely that the Scots will try to negotiate the sum. Glasgow have spent more than seven million on just two players over the past 20 years.
Tillmann himself was flexible with regard to the coming season:
“I just want to play as much as possible. It doesn’t matter to me, but it doesn’t matter where it is. I feel comfortable here, very much so. I bring my performances, which I think they do here at Rangers, completely liked it. But I could also imagine that they like it a lot at Bayern. That’s why… the exit is open.”
It was probably something like the scene that decided the game: shortly after half-time, Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani put the ball a bit too far in front of him and kicked his opponent, who got the ball just before him, on the ankle. The Portuguese referee Soares Dias immediately drew the red card for the star striker.
