'Feels better': Madonna leaves hospital after battling bacterial infection

Madonna continues to recover after suffering a recent medical problem that has left her in intensive care for several days with a “serious bacterial infection.”

The 64-year-old woman is now out of the hospital. “She’s home and she’s feeling better,” a source told E! News.

The update comes a day after Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary shared the news of her hospitalization in a statement on Instagram, as well as confirming that her upcoming Celebration Tour will be postponed.

“His health is improving, however he is still under medical care,” Guy said in his June 28 statement. “A full recovery is expected,” he added.

The “Vogue” singer’s health misadventure comes less than a month after the tour, which honored her 40 years in music, began in Vancouver, Canada.

The Grammy winner had expressed excitement about the concert series five months before her hospitalization.

“I’m excited to explore as many songs as possible,” she shared in a press release in January, “in hopes of giving my fans the show they’ve been waiting for.”

However, this is not the first time that Madonna has suffered a medical problem before going on stage. The “Like a Virgin” artist sustained injuries during her 2019 Madame X tour, forcing her to cancel several shows in North America and one in Portugal.

A year later, Madonna underwent hip replacement surgery, but wanted the public to know that it wasn’t doing her any harm.

“So how do I stay in shape?” he explained in his 2021 special Madame X Presents: Madame Xtra Q&A, per Extra. “It’s all in your head… It’s called will, it’s called no one is going to stop me, and how I stay in shape is that no one is going to stop me. And how I stay in shape is that I don’t believe in limitations.”
