Fernando Báez Sosa’s parents planted a tree in the vicinity of Dolores. In addition, hundreds of people accompanied Graciela and Silvino at this very difficult time.

This Wednesday afternoon, the thirteenth and last hearing of the trial for the murder of Fernando Báez Sosa was held, which also coincided with the third anniversary of the crime that occurred outside the Le Brique nightclub in Villa Gesell. On this occasion, an emotional tribute was held in Dolores and in various parts of the country.

A jacaranda by Fernando

“Fernando present” is the cry of a crowd of people in the Dolores amphitheater. To keep the memory of the 18-year-old young man alive, Graciela and Silvino planted a jacaranda tree in the immediate vicinity of the place.

With great emotion and tears in their eyes, Fernando’s parents planted a tree, the one that the young man liked the most. For his part, the driver of the tribute promised to take care of him among “all the residents of Dolores.” In addition, he asked that, when he flourishes, he be seen as a “synonymous with life and justice.”

“We will see it flourish in a couple of years. We will take great care of him. From now on it will be Fernando’s tree,” said the driver of the tribute. In addition, he also added: “It will be Fernando’s tree forever and ever in Dolores.”

In the last few hours, Fernando’s parents started lighting candles to honor their son. Since the video made this difficult, they asked that the cell phone flashlights be turned on.

Then, they broadcast a video tribute and eight of Fernando’s friends displayed a flag with the face of the 18-year-old and the repeated request for justice.

On this very special occasion, Fabián Améndola is present at the Dolores amphitheater together with Fernando Burlando, the lawyers for the victim’s family.
