“Until money do us part” is one of Netflix’s hits in 2022.
As is well known, after staying in the top 10 of Netflixin July of this year the series was withdrawn from its catalogue, but five months later, Prime Video included it, which seems like a great success.
Meanwhile, Netflix is keeping the adaptation it made Telemundo “Betty in NY” and also maintains the legacy of Fernando Gaitan through the update of two other of his stories: “Woman-fragranced coffee”the hit that captivated the public in 1994, and later “Until money do us part”. These two titles, as well as “I am Betty the Ugly one”have their proposals to the Mexican, however, the RCN channel of Colombiahas given them new life, even with actors who worked on the first versions.
The most recent version of “Coffee with the scent of a woman” began streaming on Netflix in 2021.
Through the years, the history of Ugly Bettyhas been produced for some 180 countries, every time with great success, while “Woman-fragranced coffee”in its adaptation for Mexico, promoted the fame of Angélica Rivera, who from that performance is known by the name of “Seagull”character who starred “Distilling love” in 2007, produced by Nicandro Díaz.
In 2009 it began to be broadcast on Las Estrellas “Till money do us part”whose main characters are in charge of Pedro Fernández and Itatí Cantoral and due to its success, to date it has been broadcast repeatedly by the TLNovelas channel.
In this way, the legacy of Fernando Gaitan portrays the reality of many people in the world, which seems to be maintained despite the passage of time.
