Unreachable servers
If you are unable to connect to the servers of FIFA 23 since the end of the morning, it’s normal. The problem isn’t with your connection, but with what appears to be a massive outage of Electronic Arts’ servers. On social networks, complaints from players are increasing. The Downdetector site, which allows you to report server problems, has been showing a spike in error reports for nearly two hours.
The good news is that you are not the only ones experiencing this outage. This seems to be generalized in France, in the United States and in other countries as well. In fact, the problem is probably global: it is obviously the EA servers that unlock. EA Sports games such as UFC, F1 and others FIFA are, for example, also not playable online. But this is also the case for multiplayer FPS Battlefield 2042 or Battlefront II. For the time being, the publisher has not communicated about this problem. Given its magnitude, however, it should react quickly.
FIFA without EA Sports, even better?
The information has been known for a long time now, and you are therefore aware that after FIFA 23, Electronic Arts will no longer publish games in the franchise.
