This weekend has been a lot about the return of Cal Kesti. However, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s obvious qualities have been somewhat overshadowed by the equally obvious performance problems that plagued all releases – but not least on PC. As a direct consequence of the fans’ fury, the publishers at EA have first of all apologized, but now they have also taken to Twitter with more concrete details about what they intend to fix in the game’s first, most urgent stage of fixing.

Regarding the patch that was released for PC today, they write briefly and concisely “perfomance improvements for non ray-traced rendering.” The following and longer list of fixes, which EA says have already been released for PC, apply to the console versions, and you can view it in full below. Hopefully the experience will improve significantly with these fixes, or with any of the additional, future patches that EA promises are coming soon…
