As expected, EA Sports has launched the new edition of Road to the Final in FIFA 23, a campaign created to celebrate the best players involved in the final stages of the three European competitions, namely the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Let’s discover all the selected champions together!

Towards the Final!

Road to the Final Dynamic Player Items can receive boosts based on the results of their teams in Champions, Europa and Conference League knockout matches. Road to the Final cards can receive up to five Dynamic Upgrades based on:

  • First elimination match won after the start of the campaign*;
  • Qualification for the quarterfinals;
  • The qualification to the semi-finals;
  • Qualification for the final;
  • Tournament victory.

*Matches already played before today February 17th do not count towards the first potential upgrade.

Players Heading Forward to the Final do not need to have played matches with their squad to receive updates. Of course, if a player’s team is eliminated from one of the tournaments, he will no longer be able to receive further updates.

Europe Conference League

The Road to the Final edition cards are already available in FUT 23 packs. Added to these are Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby (88) as a Squad Building Challenge and Real Sociedad’s Brais Méndez (86) as an Objective Player.

The first upgrades are expected starting February 24thwhile the subsequent ones starting on March 17, April 21, May 19 and June 12 – in other words at the end of each knockout round.
