With the promise of sharing more Final Fantasy XVI news as 2023 kicks off, the team at Square Enix is preparing to face a new videogame year.
To celebrate the handover between 2022 and 2023, in particular, the team of Final Fantasy XVI decided to share with the public a unpublished artwork dedicated to the JRPG. The image was published on the game’s Japanese Twitter account: you can view it directly below.Simultaneously with the publication of the artwork – distributed by Square Enix for the first time on January 1, 2023 – the twitter has once again confirmed that they will soon be shared further details on the imagery and gameplay of Final Fantasy XVI. The awaited fantasy adventure, we remember, will land on the videogame market during the summer of this year. As confirmed by the new dedicated image, in fact, Final Fantasy XVI will get into the hands of the public next June 22, 2023. The JRPG will initially only debut on Playstation 5: at the end of the period of temporal exclusivity reserved for Sony hardware, the game will also be able to reach the catalog of additional platforms. The latter, however, have not yet been disclosed. Before the 2022 deadline, the awaited production returned to show itself to fans during The Game Awards. On the occasion of the event conducted by Geoff Keighley, a lot of new information was revealed on the combat system, characters and gameplay of Final Fantasy XVI.
