Oberhausen.
A group of Dutch people were on their way on holiday. The car suddenly skidded on a bend. The journey went no further.

A group of Dutch people had certainly imagined the start of their holiday differently: On Friday, the tour group’s SUV overturned in a curve at the A3 motorway junction in Oberhausen. Luckily, the five occupants were uninjured, but the car couldn’t go any further. When asked, the Oberhausen fire department reported that the car had to be towed.

The group was probably on their way to a skiing holiday. During the accident, the equipment fell out of the roof box and landed in the ditch. It is still unclear why the driver of the Land Rover lost control in the curve of the A3 towards Cologne. The police are now investigating the cause.

Short traffic jam at the intersection

The Oberhausen fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident around eleven o’clock. Upon arrival, emergency services found that all five occupants were able to exit the vehicle unharmed.

The fire brigade had a relatively easy job. She put the vehicle back on its wheels and sprinkled binding agent on the spilled liquids. The car was then towed away. For the time of the rescue, the connecting piece had to be blocked by the police. There was a brief traffic jam, but the drivers were able to continue and continue through several loops in the intersection area on the A3 towards Cologne.
