The measures, replicated by some official media, such as the page of Television Camaguey on Facebook, they highlight the need to maintain the original security devices installed on the equipment.

It also warns “not to make adaptations to the motorcycle that contradict the manufacturer’s prescriptions” or put it to charge without due attention and prevent it from exceeding the time established in the instructions.

Likewise, this means of transport should not be subjected “to loads inside premises and rooms without supervision”.

The measures take place in a context where the news of fires unleashed by motorcycle explosions have been recurrent.

In different localities of Cuba many homes have been reduced to ashes after the motorcycle batteries exploded inside.

Sometimes only property damage has been reported, but other times the death of people due to these accidents has had to be lamented.

Such was the case of a family made up of seven people, including two children, who died burned by the flames in a explosion caused by fire of electric mopeds.
