KINGSBURG, California – Firefighters with the city of Kingsburg are investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed a gas station at the corner of Marion and Sierra streets on Saturday night.

In the hours of Sunday morning, firefighters were still at the scene where the fire would have emerged from the interior rear of the building.

The flames spread rapidly and within minutes the roof of the gas station collapsed.

Different fire companies from Selma, Fresno, Tulare, Kings counties and the city of Reedley assisted in the emergency, which fortunately left no one injured.

Firefighters say that the investigation to determine the cause of the accident continues.
