In a new broadcast of the tenth season of “Justice First”, the first program dedicated entirely to issues in the judicial field, which features the protagonists of the most resonant cases, who tell everything in the first person.

The broadcast, which is broadcast on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. and is hosted by Enrique “Quique” Russo, had the trial prosecutor of the Gender Violence Area of La Plata, Lucas Domski, in the EL DIA studios, who addressed issues related to Gender Violence and the program “Justice goes to schools”.

“It is difficult to explain that Justice does not do prevention, but when a victim is informed of their rights, they demand their feelings and needs, and indirectly one requests the precautionary measure from the judge and prevention is carried out,” said the prosecutor.

Likewise, he affirmed: “Criminal Justice, unfortunately, is the last link of what can happen in a situation of violence.” The trial prosecutors appear, in the Province of Buenos Aires we have the accusatory system, but in other provinces they maintain the inquisitive system that comes from the monarchies.

“In the Region, cases of gender violence have decreased very little after the explosion that occurred in the pandemic. I always relate it to the censuses, in the city there are five correctional courts and five oral courts that were last expanded in 2006, the city has increased the population and, therefore, crime,” he said.

In this sense, Domski highlighted the arrival of new tools to streamline processes: “Today we have many more tools, such as digital ones, where you can make a complaint through an application and thus avoid the need to necessarily attend the police station. to do it.”

“On social networks you see a lot of virtual violence, indifference, it causes children to suffer a lot and schools do not realize that. We broadcast videos of examples that should not happen and the children remain labeled paying attention,” he reflected after visiting secondary schools. He also stressed: “The role of teachers and preceptors is essential, who have the task of preventing any situation of abuse or suicide, we tell them to tell, notify or verify because something very serious can be avoided.”

Those interested, both clubs or schools or any entity that wants to have these trainings, may do so by contacting the Association of Magistrates and Officials of La Plata, on my Twitter account (@lucasdomski), with the Catholic University of La Plata or also through Caritas.
